Question Please Help! Slip and VDC

I recently purchased a 2003 G35 sedan from a guy who took incredibly good car of this car. In the past few days I have experienced a major issue with my car and I'm hoping you can help. A few times now when I reverse my car from a parking space and then pull forward I get a major shaking like I'm breaking or have run over something. This all happens around 5 mph. When this happens the Slip and VDC lights come on. It is so violet that it scares the crap out of me! I put the car in park for a brief second and then pull forward and everything seems fine. The Slip and VDC lights remain off and the car works perfectly. I've read other issues that people are having with the Slip, VDC and Check Engine lights staying on but I am not experiencing this problem. The breaks and rotors are brand new. My slip and VDC light do sometimes stay on but turning the car off and back on seems to fix the issue. Does anyone know what might be happening to cause this violet breaking/shaking as such low speeds?

Slip and VDC often come on when brake fluid is low. As for the shaking, most likely it is just the ABS self check test, that runs each time you start the car and reach a certain speed.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on checking the break fluid when I get home tonight. Regarding the ABS self check, I can assure you that this is not what's happening in my case. When the car jerks/shakes it feels like the whole transmission is going to fall out. It feels like a ran over something or have something shoved up the wheel well that is preventing the car from going.

Recheck the work. Sounds like something is not installed tight/correctly. When you put it into reverse the rotor/caliper/pads shift position. When you go forward it/they shift again locking up until it resettles.

Any other lights on? ABS?

You checked the fluid level in the MC correct?
