Need to replace compression rods and bushings, ball joints etc on 04 G35X. Since all these car fail there what are some aftermarket companies that offer better than the OEM crap they produce?

I was going with Whiteline bushings all around but was wondering about the rod itself, is there an aftermarket piece cause the TSB(should have been a recall) states on AWD cars the entire thing needs to be replaced if any signs of rust, B.S. And also looking for balljoints since the damn thing is going to be apart anyways.

 

The new revised versions of the compression rods do hold up better.

I replaced mine on my '06 back around 50K miles. They rattled like hell back then and were noisy. I have 150K miles on my car now, so in 100K miles of driving, no noises or knocking or rattling at all. I've visually inspected them and pried at them and no issues at all.

If mine were to fail again, I would have no issue with getting another OEM comp rod.

 

Ok thanks. I may have to go with a set of the new ones with bushings, see how they hold up on the road conditions up here. No success locating an aftermarket rod, just bushings.
