Anybody have a sedan that came with the aero package that included the spoiler and the underbody diffusers that cover the rear suspension? Wanting to get those diffusers for my sedan but am confused how many there should be. From what I understand the coupe has 4 of the covers, in front of the rear wheels and behind the rear wheels on both sides. Did the sedan have just one behind each rear wheel and that's it?

I think toll booth ***** has them. He is a sponser on here. He calls them underbody splash shields.

 

Years back these used to be available from Nissan. IIRC there was only 2 of them for the sedan but i could be wrong.

There really isn't a huge difference in reducing drag. IIRC sedans equipped with them lowered the CD from 0.29 to 0.28.

At $100 or so for the two diffusers (at the time) I figured it would take me many years for that impact to start saving me in gas.

 

Mud flaps is a good description, they are just little flaps that attach on the inner fender area in front of the lower control arms.

 

I think they are also for protection from road debri also. It must reduce drag otherwise l dont think Infiniti would have put them on the car.

 

It does. But not a huge impact on reducing CD

 

I think it is more for protection reducing drag is just a side benefit. I still have the plastic on mine. I will get the aluminum sooner or later.

 

That's all it reduces drag by lol yeah that would be a waste of $100 for sure. Plus I'm sure that was probably at 100mph+, how often is that happening. Definitely not worth it...

 

Definitely only two on the sedan. When I ordered the rear spoiler it came with the diffusers.

I will be replacing my plastic for the aluminum very soon. Im not worried about reducing drag more concerned about protection from road debri.l want the black not silver.they might cost $145 but worth it to me!
