Exclamation G35 sedan exhaust modification

Hey all,
I'm looking into modifying my exhaust, and am wondering the best way to increase the exhaust sound with less than $300. I know hfc are 400+ and a good cat back is a little to loud for my liking. I'm looking to get a 350z quality sound and volume from my sedan. I have a injen cai, motordybe plenum spacer and hypertech tune. I was thinking about removing the muffler and replacing it with a straight pipe and a nice glass packed exhaust tip from borla, magna, flowmaster, or pacesetter. I know a hks axleback is 500. And a generic one is 120. I want a solution for a GREAT sounding axle back.

I just built my exh on my 05X. I had a mid pipe made minus resonater. They copied the stock Infiniti mid pipe. I found a megan oe rs muffler $247. Which magan copied infiniti made it 3in. It sounds deeper and good! Total cost $350 installed!

Just replace the mid pipe with a straight pipe. It's cheap and it sounds great.

I didnt change y pipe. Just a custom mid pipe all the bends were copied minus resonater. And a magan oe rs muffler which was new cost shipped was $247. Mid pipe was $100 installed with muffler. Total cost $347. Magan muffler sound like stock deeper and alittle louder. Magan oe rs system is out of stock and has been for a yr. I love the sound! I have got alot of complements on the sound! I know women like the sound too!

But how loud is it? I'm looking for something a little louder than the coupes sound, not like it had a whole catback. Or sound like a clean mumuffler delete. And since I won't find the hks or oers muffler, should I try for the whole megan oers catback?

Listen to the exh comparison on the v35 forum. It is not very loud.Louder than stk no drone! Check the vendors on here you might find the muffler. The magan oe rs is stainless and 3 in!
The hks muffler will cost $450- 500! The magan oers around $400. It comes with everything needed to install gaskets too! I have a05X awd. They say wont work on it but it does! Some people say magan is junk. Thats because it doesnt cost $1500 or more. Check out the comparison of the exh systems. You will hear that magan is a nice deep sound!!

Its in the v35 2003-2006 forum. I was lucky to find the muffler last February. I think you can find the catback oe rs exh. Just text some vendors selling exh systems. I love the sound of the magan exh. Women love the sound too!

It's the same thing as your "custom mid pipe minus the resonator". I use the stock muffler and it sounds great. Cost $50 at a local exhaust shop.

Since we're talking about 50 bucks, what about this mid pipe? I've been looking around http://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/6703-05335217.html?utm_content=DN&utm_term=2003-2004+Infiniti+G35+Exhaust+Resonator+Pipe+Walker+56 182+03-04+Infiniti+Exhaust+Resonator+Pipe&fp=pp&gbm=a&utm _source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_campaign=PartsGee k+Google+Base&gclid=CO2Sn6bM6cICFQsSMgodOD0Aew
