Okay guys so recently I got water on the IPDM behind the battery, and rusted everything. I have replaced the whole thing with one off another G35 like mine. When I turn the key to the ON position, the check engine light doesn't come on meaning I get no connection the the ECM? The engine turns over but no start. Fuel pump kicks on and I'm getting spark, but no start 😩 I've also replaced both cam position sensors prior to this happening. HELP PLEASE!! 05 Sedan 5AT

 

None of your dash lights work? How about other electronics? Is the red light on when the key is in the on position?

 

Bump! I have the same exact problem as this and for the life of me have no idea what in the world it could be.

My shorted out IPDM effected my wipers and front lights, but the car would start/drive fine.

With the new one all electronics work fine, but it just won't ignite. No CEL on startup, and I tried the ECM reset procedure (never comes up or flashes) and connected via OBDII reader which cannot establish a connection with it.



If anybody has any sort of idea at all, I would appreciate input.



EDIT: Yeah, triple check all of your fuses teph, ya dummy. One 15a fuse later and she's firing up like new. Sorry guys!
