Some people must be very picky, because I haven't found any reason to complain about the turnanza's. My Nissan Maxima came with Potenza's that WERE lousy, but the turanza's outperform them by a longshot.

 

Update - I've had my 6MT car for 2 weeks and it came with the Turanza ER33s... I live in Texas and we've had a lot of rain recently - I have been very impressed with the wet weather performance, and even moreso with the dry.

Many people say they hate the Turanzas, but they are probably talking about the Turanza EL42 tires that were on other cars in the past, or the G35X AWD. I've had a lot of performance cars, and drive pretty hard, and think the Turanza ER33 tires that came on my 6MT are pretty damn good to tell you the truth.

Obviously, I can't speak to snow or ice performance, but just about any high performance summer tire with big tread blocks will suck in snow and ice.
