Angry New to Infiniti! Hi! and please help!!

Hi everyone! I have a problem and my mind is boggled right now. ok ...

03 g35 sedan 5at

well had oil changed, and new tires put on. after that (seems to be when it is wet/raining
) I will drive for a while and then cut car off, go in store, come back start it and CEL, VDC and SLIP lights come on. Causing limp mode. I clear codes and came back a p0102 code. so i cleaned the MAF and checked everything that had to do with that code. Still happens.

Also I unplugged the MAF while it was running before I did all of this and it died immediately. .....I personally do not think it is the MAF. Like I said it seems to be when its raining. Also my climate controls have been acting up some, (not everyday). I have the metra unit with an aftermarket stereo. So I thought that was kind of strange. Anyway, before I buy a $565 MAF I wanted to see if anyone has any ideas, and or has had this problem before. Thanks!!!! any help would be appreciated!

Is there any chance you sucked water into the intake?

If you are sure everything is dry, check the wiring, maybe a bad connection. Maybe the sensor isnt really clean although you said you cleaned it. Maybe you just need a new air filter, or the intake is leaking somewhere skewing the MAF readings.

If your gas cap isn't tight it will throw the CEL on. How did you clean your maf sensor. The reason I say check your battery, I recently had a problem my car wouldn't start on very cold days and on days where the temp was above 20 degrees it would. My battery had been in the car for 10 years.

If this only happens on rainy days I will agree with you that something is getting wet. I'd check to make sure all the linings in the wheel well and everywhere else had all the clips in. Or moisture could be the culprit.

Not sure what else to tell you. Maybe it is just a bad sensor. Any local G friends to swap a MAF with to see?

06 Z's still had the DE motor. If he is 5AT the MAF is the same. Even if he has the Rev-up motor, the MAF is probably still the same. Worth a shot.
