Hello I am new to this site. I really need your guys and gals help. I had all 4 wheel bearings replaced and I asked my mechanic to check my suspension because it has been driving sloppy and clunking when hitting bumps at slow speeds. They quoted me $227 each for upper control arms because ball joints are shot, and also front sway bar link kit quoted me $325 and rear sway bar link kit $150. They said labor about $550 a grand total for parts and labor $1500.00!!! Any help on where to find these parts at a reasonable price would be great, Thanks a lot!!!

 

Rockauto.com has the front and rear sway bar links pretty cheap.

Upper arms might be dealer only as the AWD front suspension does not have a lot of aftermarket support in terms of oem-type replacement parts.

Problem is if you buy parts elsewhere, check and see if your mechanic will install them. Most won't.

 

Thanks for your help!Actually my mechanic will install parts that I bring in. I bought all 4 wheel bearings...Timken and just charged me labor. Your right on the upper control arms, cheapest I have found was from a infiniti wholesaler out of Texas for $130 each which is better than $227.
