Upper control arm bushing into steering knuckle?
Upper control arm bushing into steering knuckle?
I need help identifying the bushing that is on the end of the upper control arm balljoint that goes into steering knuckle. I ordered the upper control arm from Infiniti and they did not include that piece or the stretch bolts. It is like a spacer that fits into steering knuckle and that also puts pressure on the ball joint,,,,its like a cone. My car is torn apart and I tried pulling the piece off the old control arm with no luck. Any help would be awesome in identifying the part!
I think its called a ball joint cone. Haha
Conceptzperformance.Com sells them for like $5 I think.
Edit: just looked and they lowered the price of their steering knuckle ball joints (they have that same cone) and don't seem to sell the cone separately any longer. You may be able to call them and get it. If not, tho, partsgeek has the cone for $15/ea.

I'd try again with heat and pullers, they come off. The part # is 401733P00-1431984-116204 I believe. I ordered the seats before for comp arm and they were wrong ones. They are the part listed for upper seat and compression rod seat but it didn't fit. I re-used my old one, was a pain to remove.
