What would be the best way to convert my 03.5 sport interior to the non-sport look? Anyone want to trade? I just prefer the interior to be as black as possible.

Oh, and I have NAV. Will this pose an issue since the top of the NAV is silver also? Is it easy to swap out? If not, I can live with exchanging everything except the NAV piece.

What sites could I check out to purchase these pieces?

I am not a big fan of the non sport interiors on the loaners I have had. The black center console looks cheap.

dyenboy- I'll check those places out. what parts would i need? looks as if the nav unit will stay silver... it seems like it isnt going anywhere easily. maybe i'll just do the ashtray down black and keep the radio up silver... that way my nav wouldn't look out of place. thanks. btw, good to see another cali comrad here.

g4me- Resale going down??? What are you on? How easy is it for me to change back... if anyone would really care. i have full nismo and nav... yeah, my resale is going down, sure it is.

hyde- sorry i'm keeping everything else normal... i like the wood trim but i'm not sure if i like it more than stock. if i change my mind, i'll find you. wait, i hope you only have the shifter and door handles in wood from factory, not one of cheesy press on dash kits.

intgr8r- i dont think that i want to risk it. likelyhood of it looking nice is good, i think. still, not something that i'll consider right now.

corinth... just a thought. some people have replaced their stock (silver or non-sport) with a double din aftermarket because they wanted to install a new CD/radio/etc system. i've seen pics of some that were black. if you do a search for "double din," i'm sure pics are still up so you can check it out. there are catches though - like getting an aftermarket unit and i think you have to modify it to fit that dual climate control button. it's a stretch, but that could be another option if you don't have luck with what dyenboy suggested. good luck!

g35girl- actually, i was thinking about that. what is holding me back is the darn ac controller that i would need to purchase separatly at a cost that i'm not willing for fork over right now.

i'd like an aftermarket HU but it doesnt make sense to me... maybe in my younger days. for now it is going to stay "grown folk"...though i am definitely adding a 5ch amp and speakers. i know it would be best to do it right and get the HU but i'd rather take what it would cost to convert my dash (dd kit, ac controller, nice HU,etc) and go to Rio.
