p0335 CKP sensor code
Ok, so about 2 weeks ago, I had my Service Engine Soon light come on. I work at a Honda dealership, so I scanned the code, and it read P0335 CKP sensor. Car was very hard to start cranking for almost 10 seconds before starting. I went to our affiliate Infiniti dealer and got a new Crank sensor. Light went off after replacing it. Went out the next day drove 3 miles down the road and light came back on. Read the code again at work, and it was p0335 again. Went back to the Infiniti dealer and picked up both Cam sensors and replaced them aswell. Light went off on initial drive, but on restart it came back on. My car is a 05 g35 6mt sedan. I am at a loss as to what is going on. Has anyone had a similar issue.
Side note: the car runs fine for the most part. It is a little down on power under 4k, VVT does engage, and feels normal past 4k.

So you work at a dealership and your just throwing random parts at your car with no fault telling you to do the cam sensors.
Your symptoms are showing a Crank sensor being fault. Since your replaced it, was the fault cleared? If it came back then you might have a bad sensor out the box, maybe you replaced the wrong sensor, this sensor should be reach from the bottom of the car. Did you confirm the harness was not damaged, borrow the consult 3 at the dealership and see real time if there are issues.
I've had my crank sensor go bad, drove straight to part store, crawled under and replaced it. 6 months later cam fault and replaced that sensor. Smooth sailing after.

Here's the FSM

You may have to troubleshoot a bit as it's possible the issue lies in the wiring and not the sensor itself
