So for those of you who have followed any of my threads Know that I'm going for a full custom look for my sedan, I want to be the only one on the road with the mods I have. Now I'm about done with the car and I'm at a point where I'm not certain on the last few mods I want to do before paint and there is no better way to get advice then from other G lovers. So first off on the front, I'm not sure if I want to keep the nismo bumper or change it up, honestly love it but I'm bored I guess. Then with the cowl hood I'm thinking of adding the 2014 camaro center heat extractor but scared it may be too much.
So the picture shows the bumper and hood, any ideas? New bumper, modify it possibly, or just keep it. On the hood New center extractor? Or just leave it alone. My lights are about to be opened up to do a dual projector setup but I'm looking into that still, then thinking to color match the lights or keep them black. So on to the next thought. ...
just put those rims from a g37 and I have no clue what color I should paint them. The car is going that mango tango, or sunburst. That nice orange like the 350z has.
the rear end I'm thinking about dual exhaust or just leave it as it, it looks aggressive already so the dual exhaust might complete the look. Any thoughts? Also I'm thinking of doing a new trunk so will trade mine out for an oem one if anyone likes my m3 setup. Last question of the deal is with a roof wing? I'm already putting the window visors so would a roof wing look ok or throw off the look. Keeping in mind the car will be orange with a black top and my windows are limo tint trying to mimic a glass top. Sorry for the long *** post but figured you guys are the best people to help me out. Thank you very much in advance and if anyone wants custom work done let me know I need a g35 coupe. A g35 sedan 07 style, and then g37s later on to start test fitting cowl hoods and such.
The hood is as aggressive as it could be, so I'd stop before it starts looking goofy. Not sure you can get a better bumper than the sedan nismo one either.
DEFINITELY gotta do dual exhaust. The wheels are a bit of a tough call, just don't do black.

sweet, I've put so much into it that I'm looking for that last thing to set it off but don't want to overdo it. What about a bronze on the rims? Or maybe a light graphite for a crazy contrast. I'm kinda set on dual exhaust too, leaning towards quad tips like the new gt500s or the vettes, not centered obviously.

Bronze MIGHT be cool. I like it on red cars. If its too close to the orange you're using for the car tho it could clash. That's actually the one thing I hate about red Gs: The red of the car is a different red from the tail lights, so two colors that are so similar but not the same can really clash IMO. The bronze kinda has an orangish hue. I'd have to see the bronze and mango tango next to each other to really make an opinion.

I'm going to try to get a couple samples shot in the next few days to see what looks good. What are your thoughts on the roof wing? I'm going to be changing up the trunk and that's why I didn't do it before, they looked too similar. But now I just fixed up a BRZ and it has a super aggressive duck bill that I'm going to try to fabricate something up to work, and if not then I'll have to start over and see what I can do.
Car looks good. If You want a one of a kind You already have it. I havnt followed Your posts but by what you've said and looking at that seat it looks like You have a one of a kind already.
Seats look dope. If You did the full interior thats big rite there. Most people just mod the out side And small changes inside.
The bumper looks good to me. You can change it if You want since theres so many choices.
What color is the paint? With the interior that color , You can do a lot to match out side color
Dont over do it. To me simple is classy. Something like pearl white with maybe orange calipers , if yoy have brembos yoy can do white brembo decal .
Something simple . Dont go mismatching colors on the hood and trunk. Or crazy mismatch emblem or door handles colors. Simple very small things , its the detail that people appriciate , like stitching on the inside.. custom gauge cluster . A nice shift boot with stitching ..
The hood Your talking about seems to much . If You go crazy color rims thats also , to me, to much...
Looks like You have either money to spend on it or You have access to do these things. A lot You can do and its easy to do to much. Try to take time inbetween each mod so You can blend things in as You go...
Post pics of the interior and engine bay. Hood looks ok dont over do it. I'm in nyc, tinted tail lights are played out. I think the tails can be modded with leds. Modded head lights like You said is good too. ...
I think the wing dont go good. Maybe a small lip would be nice..: orange diffuser if Your painting car white would look good as long as its not a bright orange...
I have a hard time with the roof spoiler. Sometimes I think it looks great and sometimes I think it looks retarded. If its gonna be black like the roof tho, should look good. It'll probably just go mostly unnoticed, and give the appearance of an enlongated roof.

Nice job so far.
The car is going mango tango like the can I posted a pic of, with a touch of gold pearl. The seats are all done in orange stitch to tie the inside and outside together. The reason I went with that tan and the brown color because that is the color of my dash. I didn't want to get too far into that. Just the handle trim on the inside of the doors will be color matched but that's it. It's an aluminum looking color right now. The full interior is being done though. The outside will stay simple with the full car in mango tango, with just the roof black and a few black highlights where I put the vents on the rear and hood.

The wing I think currently is too small but once I paint the car it might stand out more. I bought the 06 led lights for the rear so that's done.
Looks good to me. Maybe a Kurookie, which I think lends itself better to custom work, but don't overdo it. there is a fine line between nice and rice sometimes.
So now the task is finding that right color.... anybody have pics of an orange car with some sexy colored rims. Maybe a srt neon or caliber considering that's the mango tango color.
Rear bumper and trunklid look good, roof spoilers are nothing more than "stickons" that look cheap! MangoTango body color will require major thought for the wheels, black will look like you're celebrating Halloween all year long! Most colors will not work since you want the focus to be on your ride. How about GM (gunmetal) centers with polished lips which would add a little class to your already outrageous paint color? Gary

yeah I'm having a hell of a time trying to set a color, I was mixing paint today and just couldn't find anything I liked so just left it for tomorrow after I sleep on it. I think the paint will blend in more then it sounds, neon srt4, caliber srt4, all the sedans out there with that orange, plus all the bright colors that are coming out on the new cars. It's a darker orange so it's not like a lambo orange lol. The lips I can't polish since I am staying with my g37 rims I just put on, I love the look of those . The other issue at hand is what color im going to highlight the vents, in my coupe I painted them black but if I do the wheels gunmetal maybe that would look good on parts of the body as well. I have a feeling I'm just going to have to spray a few things and see how I like it.
Toying with a g37 convertible wing for the 3rd brake light. Wasn't feeling the flow of my old wing because I'm trying to update the look of the car. So far so good, should be done tomorrow.
