M3 mirrors

After 10 years and over 200k miles the paint on my mirrors is starting to crack on my 05 sedan. I was wondering if anyone tried the M3 style mirrors from modifystreet? They say they fit coupe and sedan, which makes me leary. If they are crap I might just wrap the stockers, but thought the integrated turn signals would be nice. Opinions? I plan on driving this for another year or so and giving it to my teenager.

Personally I'd just take them off and paint them. But that's me

If those are the equivalent of the ones they sell in the motorcycle world they will be very creaky and brittle. First rock to hit the plastic shatters them. I would just repaint oem, you've proved you know how to clear a set of headlights so the mirror base should be no problem.

Yeah ill probably go with black and paint the bases to match. It would be impossible to match stock 10 year old paint. I was hesitant and thought they were cheesy looking, but figured i would run it past you guys. Thanks for the input.

I think M3 mirrors are cheesy. The G35 mirrors look fine other than being tiny.

What color is your car?

Could always go with the race car look and paint them bright orange. (just kidding)
