Im on my second front wheel bearing past this month, Originally i replaced the bearing because my car would make the "whooping" sound over 40mph, it would get loud when turning the wheel to the left. Story short i though i gotten a defective part so i replaced it again , the noise is still there . At this point im getting tired and running out of ideas . Could this be the drivers bearing making the noise all alone ?

 

You sure you are replacing the right bearing?

Take both front wheels off and take the rotors off. Grab the hub and spin it. Does it feel rough? or smooth?

 

Since i had the bearing that i though was defective i installed it at the driver side , so now i have two new bearings lol . That solved my problem , Both the infiniti dealer and I misdiagnosed the problem .I really heard the sound on the right as well so i guess the noise traveled.From the beginning it was the drivers bearing not the passenger. This side took me under 50 min .
