Question regarding factory alarm...

Hello all...

Question regarding the factory alarm on my G. All the previous car's I've owned in the past, the factory alarm activates itself (usually after 1 min) if I closed the door and walk away from my car. However, the G doesn't do it. I've had a few times where I end up running back to my car because I realized I forgot to press the LOCK button and activate the alarm. Is there any way to tweak it and set it to auto-activate the alarm after a minute?

Thanks...

I guess...it's a no. That's not good. I wonder why Infiniti designed it that way.

HAHA...but it's been a long habit for me. Shut off car and just walk away and let the alarm do it's own job. I gotta put some sticky notes on my dashboard I guess...haha.

i believe the only "automatic" thing about our factory alarms is if you unlock the doors using your keyfob and don't open any door for like 10-15 seconds or so, then the doors will lock by themselves because the car assumes you've tapped unlock by accident. i've done that before and thought my car needed an exorcism.

I didn't know any car had an alarm like that, I don't think I would like that to tell you the truth.

If you can remember to take Ginkgo biloba, do you really need it?
