I just broke about 2400 miles on my car and just recently I started to hear a ticking noise (other then the fan) coming from the drivers side of the car. If I put my head near the drivers side front tire I can hear it clear as day (with AC On or Off). I've looked under the hood to determine if its coming from a belt with no luck.

Has anyone else had this problem or is this normal and I'm just hearing things?

Also, the car has started a slight, and I mean slight idle roughness when stopped at a light. The RPM's stay at around .5, which is low, so I'm not sure what happening? It also occurs with the AC On or Off. Up until a few days ago it didn't even feel like the car was running. Is it because the engine has finally burnt in and both these are just related?
