Exclamation 04 G35x HID Headlight Replacement?

Hey all,

Just bought an 04 g35x sedan a few months ago and really want to replace my stock HID Xenon headlights. They have small hairline cracks and fog up every week basically and yellow (common problem ive heard).

Checked on ebay and I found a lot of headlight replacements that are blacked out and look good but almost all of them say (will work with standard halogen headlights but will not fit stock HID Xenon).

Basically...has anyone with stock HID's replaced them with aftermarket headlights.
If so I would love to find out where you bought them.

Thanks!

I think you are talking about buying aftermarket sets to swap the plastic outer with. If so, yes fitment should be close. I can't guarantee it will be perfect but I just did this on my coupe and it is amazingly better.

It involves a heat gun going around the outside of the stock headlight until it pulls off . YouTube replacing lenses.

I wish there were more options for us guys with factory HID's. My lenses look horrible. Oem replacements cost an arm and a leg

Can the stock lenses be heated and pulled apart? Buy ebay non-HID lenses and just swap the outside lense cover....
