hello everyone . I have a 05 g35 with the sport package and 19" rays. I live in Nj and cant take the harsh ride anymore, considering switching to a suv at this point . My question is can i do anything to soften the ride ? maybe downgrade to 18" and get bigger tires on them ? any help would be great thanks . Car has 84k

Suspension and tires mean everything when it comes to harshness.

To answer your question the sidewall difference between 18" wheels (50 series tires) and what you're currently running is major but not enough to make your G35 comfortable to drive in NJ or any other city that has crappy streets! If you haven't replaced your shocks installing new ones will only firm up your ride! Moving to a SUV might be the answer in your war against chuckholes...Gary

I never had a suv , and thi is my first coupe , everything i had before was 4 door . So i should see a major difference with 18"? im not really looking for suv ride just something that feels normal .
