Funny story... The first 240sx I owned had holes in the trunk lid from a spoiler removal. I glued quarters to the bottom side and filled the top side with bondo. Don't worry, it was just a phase.

He's clearly wrong about Zeppelin but the nickel idea isn't half bad.

Off to a great start man!

Wheels look great on the Sedan.

Side note- all four have to be same size tire diameter all around. Check this tool out to help with tire measurements and how to stay close to stock diameter for the speedometer.

http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

I used this tool myself with my wheels.

Hope this helps out!

Quarters? You wasted $.20/hole. Assuming there were 4 holes, $.80 is enough to rent Taylor for an hour or two of buddy-jamming to LedZep.

Thank you! Two of the tires the wheels came with are ruined so I plan to buy tires so that all 4 are matching. 235 35r19 most likely

Should've used some nickels flattened on the rail road tracks. I feel I'm too new to the forum to take sides here but $0.80/hour seems like a pretty good deal.

Anyways, I may do some research on doing a wire tuck. I started polishing the plenum cover but don't have access to an air compressor right now. A polished and tucked bay would look nice

My favorite part is the group purchase sensor.

What do you all recommend for a buffer and high gloss polish?

I have a porter cable 7424xp and like meguiars a205 and a105 for heavy/light polishing. My buddy bought a $40 polisher from harbor freight and it seems to work just as good.

I'll have to look into that. Thanks! I want to blind pilots with the shine on my car.

Today I ordered some of that gold heat wrap stuff. Going to try it on my intake and test temps just for fun. Also ordered bolts and washers from a fastener website for the engine bay dress up

For $60 the paint on this looks good to me. Garage was too cold to put it on tonight.

Thank you! I'm excited as well.

Got a floor jack today and wrapped up my intake tube. You can see where i had started to polish the plenum but ran out of time a couple weeks ago.

Should have the spring on Tuesday

Installed my lowering springs but I'm not happy with how it sits. Looks like I'm going to end up getting coil overs. Seems most X guys use the BC brand, is this the best available or what are the other affordable options?
