Is there a way to relpace the spark plug gasket without replacing the whole valve cover? I just need to replace the 6 gasket. I also got the check engine light on had it checked and got code P0103.
and now I have the VDC and SLIP is OFF light as well, Can someone please help me figure out what I should do. Dealer wants $98/hr for labor alone not including parts. I could do my own work just need recommandation of what I should do.

 

as for code P0103 take out and clean your MAF sensor. make sure it is connected nice and tight. and check all the wires going into it.

the valve cover. there is a gasket kit you can buy to replace the stock ones, but you have to drill out the old ones. search on the boards and i am sure you can find where to buy it.

 

maxima valve cover is a cheaper alternative to the OEM G35 cover as well. Do a search.

Maxima covers is the way to go, like 20% of the price of G35 valve covers. The post for how-to is here:

You might have to go to a salvage yard to get the Maxima covers, since Nissan has updated the Maxima covers to be as expensive as ours were.
