Shaking Issue
Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I am wanting opinions on the strange shaking issue that occurs with my car. From 0-70ish it is nice and smooth. Anything above that it start to shake a little to moderate amount. The strange part is that once it starts to shake it will continue to do it even when I slow down into the previously smooth range of 0-70ish and it happens with both my summer and winter wheels and tires which have both been balanced properly.

could be rear bearings
were they replace at any point?
Any humming noise?
Are all the balancing weights on the wheels. Some could have fallen off.
Easiest and cheapest way to diagnose the problem is to take it to the tire shop and balance the wheels. If that does not fix the problem, go on to next thing.

I have not replaced the bearings in the 4 years since I have owned it but don't know about before that. No humming noises from what I can tell. All tires have been balanced recently for both sets of wheels and this was happening before they were balanced too. I also recently had a rear brake caliper replaced since it was seizing but my friend at the shop didn't see anything else to be an issue.

I would be looking into one of the rear calipers sticking. What happens is the rotor gets super hot when this happens and when you slow down it still shakes due to the rotor being warped from overheating. This is due to the excess drag on from caliper holding too much pressure on the pads. Hope this helps as it is not uncommon. I have had 2 different V35 nodes this week with a sticking rear caliper and client was complaining of vibration.

I will check the side that wasn't already replaced and see if it is causing a problem now too. It has been doing this for a while though so I would think it a sticking caliper would have been more apparent.
I appreciate yours and Joker's responses and I will look into these issues more. Just curious, are there any bushings in the rear that would cause this?

I don't know for sure about the winter set up but I bought them from friend and he said they were completely smooth on this car. My summer set I bought all brand new wheels and tires last April so I know for sure they do not have fix a flat in them and it was even happening right after putting those on from being mounted and balanced.
