Good luck! It makes a world of a difference, especially on these cars.
I've been thinking about thos final step. I've stripped and refinished my headlights a couple of times. Car is originally from Miami so it got lots of sun. They look great for a couple of months but then the oxidation starts to return. Touching them up is not a huge deal but I wonder if actually painting them with a good quality clear-coat would keep them fresher longer. What do you think?

PS I like how Meguiar's totally has our number - the car on the PlastX label is a G. Haha.

Full paint correction and applied Optimum Gloss Coat.

Pretty swirled up when I bought it, original owner let the dealer wash it.

That is how it's done. Thanks for including your materials used, I'm trying to understand the DA. I used to try and compound with my towel and scrub method when I was in high school XD!

If you get a DA, spring for a 21 mm throw DA like the Zen Tool, Rupes or Griots. They aren't cheap but they will last forever and correct much quicker than the standard 8 mm throw DA.

BTW, this is what I do for a living.

Installed a Stillen tube and a Skunk2 5/8" plenum spacer. Rebuilt the newly-restored rear Akebono calipers for install on Saturday.

Just did the Stillen Z-tube too, sounds better. How do you like the plenum spacer?

I haven't really driven it since the install. It's been running a little under-spec for a month or so (a little sluggish over 4k, and worse gas mileage) so I think I might have a bad o2 sensor or something. I'm going to scan it today and tune as necessary.

I probably should have addressed the issue before adding the spacer, but I figure if I have to re-flash the ECU today it will optimize for the add-ons.

I started my G35 today. It has been sitting since September 2015. In the process of doing an idle relearn but I can't seem to get the timing down right. The idle has dropped a bit. First start was idling between 1.5k-1.9k RPM. It now sits at about 1,1k RPM.

Had a local upholstery shop replace the torn drivers seat bottom (with a good condition used one I found on eBay) and in the process they replaced the 12 year old seat foam with some nice new firm stuff. Feels like a brand new car seat. Very nice improvement.

Drove it in the rain. Gloss Coat sheds dirt like crazy, this is after 40 miles.

Congrats on the milestone! My 2005 just broke 100k about two weeks ago.

Just got back from a road trip - filled up the tank....got 22.4 MPG doing 60 - 85 MPH with a bit of traffic here + there and the AC on for most of the trip. And yes, I run premium only.
