What did you do to the G Sedan today?

Engine oil & filter along with PS flush, the PS fluid looked terrible before the flush. Steering is a little bit heavier and more precise, much better than before.
Found some more maintenance items needing to be done in the near future; valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, front control arm bushings, might as well do an ignition tune-up while the top end of the motor is disassembled for the valve cover gasket.
Test fitted 19" wheel off a G37s since there was one lying around, I can't look at the car the same now that it's back on 17's.
Very thankful right now for employee discount.

Looks amazing. So when I turned on the car today it shut right off. And it continously happened afterwards so i have to get it towed tomorrow. I believe my cracked alternator and Serpantine belts caused my alternator to die. Do you guys think it can be anything else? Just want to be 100% sure before I go out and buy a new alternator. I had no other starting or running issues before this, I only neglected to replace the belts.

My car won't start. It'll crank all day, the head lights work, nothing is dim as far as the interior lights. I don't know if it's the fuel pump or the alternator. Before it died on me, I lost power for a few seconds earlier in the day then the power came back on. I'm getting it inspected tomorrow morning.

that sounds like camshaft position sensor, no? we had a few threads about those sorts of symptoms not long ago. seemed so common that i started getting paranoid my car was going to shut off on the highway at any minute... most people said you get codes for that though. and that it doesn't go 100% no fire immediately. like it'll run like crap and be hard to start for a while before it refuses to fire completely.

Yeah I think he should have a light on for that. I know when my battery connections were bad , I Would blow them off of the battery while driving and the car would die then. But the car had no power at all
