03 G35 sedan with 180km. It's been good to us but it was long due for a suspension overhaul. Car's stock, suspension and everything.
Other than wheel bearings, inner/outer tie rods, springs, and lower ball joints, I replaced everything else on the front, including shocks. Replaced rear control arms, sway bar bushings and links. Brakes all around, and new firestone tires (I cheaped out on the tires, big mistake, but anyway). I still have to do an alignment.
Car is tight now, and it's stiff, so I like that, but there is a vibration coming from the front, whole car vibration more to the front. I know vibrations are hard to diagnose in the hoist, or driving, let alone on the forum, but I also feel a small vibration when going let say 70mph and braking a little harder than normal.
I love the car, and just put a bit of money in it, so I might as well spend a few more and get rid of this vibration. Tires are forced balanced, rims aren't bent, it was doing the same thing on my winters (Blizzaks on G35 rims).
I know alignment wont cure this, but my question is, from your experience can a tie rod, either outter or inner make the car vibrate? Ball joints are tight! I suspected that it's coming from a rear end, drive shaft, axles, center hanger bearing, you never know, but somehow I am convinced that it's coming from the front, not so much on the steering wheel, however I notice the steering wheel shaking a bit too, and it happens pretty much at all speeds, but it's obv less noticable at lower say 45mph speeds.
I would appreciate your input and I thank you in advance.
