New Toy

Literally...

Not sure if maybe this should be in off-topic instead but thought my fellow sedan owners might like this.

I was poking around online trying to find something else and stumbled across this and for a cost $8.90 shipped directly from Japan I could not resist.

The photos make the paint look pretty rough but it is actually pretty good in person.

Choro Q is the maker or brand of the toy. I didn't order the tea, they just sent it to me. Haha!

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
That's awesome!

When you put a battery in it what does it do? Or does "no battery" just mean it doesn't take batteries?

No batteries required.

It's a pull back car and is basically just like the old penny racer cars from the 80's. You can put a penny in the slot in the back of the car and it will do wheelies and "tricks".

Just way cool, where in the world did you find it?

On another note I had no idea what to expect when I opened this thread but seeing who the OP was I knew it would be good. When I posted a thread about my new toy I talked about my new to me GTO.....

There is a little bit of a back story here and I will try to keep it short......In June I attended Z Fest in Branson, Missouri and met a man who was friends with Mr. K who is the Father of the Z car if did not already know that. This gentleman was also partially responsible for not only the return of the Z car starting with the 350Z but also with it's development. I found him to be very interesting and talked with him quite a bit while I was there and he ended up sending me two books that he helped to write about Mr. K and also the return of the Z. While reading about Mr. K and his love for people and cars they mentioned he brought with him a bunch of Choro Q Z cars to give to people at the national Z convention. I became curious about what they were so I started to poke around online and the G35 (packaged as a skyline) popped up and I could not resist especially since it is a sedan.

Sorry, maybe not quite so short after all...

Thanks I think....I guess I am unaware of any reputation that I may have on here. I think I would probably rather the GTO!

Great story, that's cool. I don't know about reputation but you're one of the members here I enjoy reading their posts because they're usually well written, intelligent and informative. I guess if that's what builds a rep then you have a good one with me.

Looks like there are fairly easy to find when you search for Choro Q V35 Skyline.

I was able to find this one.
