lowest price paid for 2005 G35x premium

Most internet sales guys are quoting 34,800.
Anyone done better than this? I'm in the D.C. area. There are 4 nearby dealers: JBA in Ellicott City, Jim Coleman in Rockville, Rosenthal in Fairfax, and Passport in Alexandria.

Also, anyone have a 2005 G35x 0-60 time? Is is the same as the 2004?

That price doesn't mean much to me. How much is that over invoice? You can check that out on Edmonds.com. I paid invoice with a VPP deal (or a few hundred under VPP invoice). Absent a VPP deal I would shoot for $500 - $1000 over invoice.

As far as acceleration goes my car is still too new to beat on, but acceleration is more that adequate for my driving style.

according to my calculations

that's about 600 over invoice. I don't think I can qualify for VPP- don't you have to work for a company that has an agreement with Nissan or something?

This is consistent with my experience. We ordered my wife's 05 CPE 6MT on January 27th for $500 over Invoice - others in our area (Washington, DC) were saying that nobody would come down from MSRP... or that they had to order from out-of-area.

DocCat,
Sounds like a good deal to me. If you work for a big company, you might be eligible for VPP. Go to Grubbs.com for the list (hundreds of companies are on the list)

I paid $34,750 for my Diamond Graphite/Graphite X with Premium. I think I did just fine price-wise. This car is a blast to drive!

Well, here in SoCal - if you're paying $500 over invoice - I think you're getting rape.

Be aware that not all dealers participate in VPP pricing - mine does, but it's the only Infiniti dealer within a hundred miles and the only one local for the execs working at the Smyrna plant . . .

I paid $34,815 last week for my 2005 G35X; Diamond Graphite/Graphite with premium package, splash guards and trunk mat. I also got 2.9% financing. I live in Central New Jersey.

I purchased my 05 Graphite X, Premium, Nav, Flaps, Mat from Sheehy in Annapolis. They just opened Feb 1 in the old Lexus dealership on Riva Rd. They had to get the car from another local dealer as I had no interest in the wood interior... $600 over invoice. It was good enough for me and the best buying experience ever. I have bought a few cars so I have been telling it to anyone who will listen...

I forgot to mention that I also got the 2.9% financing. My credit union had me at 4.25% -- their current lowest 60 month rate.
