Will this fit my 04 G35X?

I've done some searching and from what I can tell, the RWD and AWD have the same midpipes. That being said, can anybody difinitively tell me if this Rock Auto "RWD Coupe" pipe will fit my 04 G35X? It looks like it has more to it than the glass pack style resonators that I see elsewhere. Decent price too. I believe my stock resonator/midpipe is going bad because it buzzes like an angry hornet between 1700 and 2000 rippums. Let me know what you think.

I can honestly say in 8 years on this forum I've never seen that style of mid-pipe on any G35. If it were me I'd personally go with this one for an X: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...431975&jsn=335

I had terrible luck with the Bosal exhaust pieces I purchased from Rock Auto. I ended up having to take it to a shop and have them tweak it because it did not fit correctly. It also rusted out VERY fast.

I'd suggest finding a used OEM mid-pipe from a coupe or a 05-06 sedan.

I ended up going with a Tanabe Medalion purchased form a vendor in the marketplace. It's a very nice exhaust but a bit too loud for me.

Good luck on whatever route you take!

Id take 04nismo's advice and find a used oem one. If he has had bad luck with their products then I wouldnt wanna mess with them. It starts to become a headache when you have to start putting more money into something like this. Not to mention the fact it sounds like it will rust out pretty fast.... Craigslist must have something, usually can find a part out or a junk yard doing that
