Question Tire Recommendations for G35 sedan?

Replacing Bridgestone Turanza EL42 (P215/55R17 93V) for my 03 G35 sedan with Sport-Tuned Suspension. Disappointed with the tread life span and want a more durable tire that handles well (quiet and smooth ride) and grips the road when its wet (rains frequently where I live).

Leaning towards Michelin Primacy MXV4 but is the price worth it? Also considering BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 A/S on the low end or Continental TruContact. What's your experience with these tires on your G35? Recommendations? Thanks mucho for your input!

A few of us are running the BFG Comp-2 AS and are super happy with them. I also run them on my 06 GTO and they are a fantastic tire that performs well above it's price point. In the last 2 AS tire tests on Tire Rack they have come in at #1 or #2 out of 27 tires tested beating out tires that cost more than twice as much. Treadwear is 400 and I believe they have a 40K mile warranty.

People can rave about their Michelins all day long but for half the price and nearly identical performance AND longer life I'll take the BFG's every time. HTH.....

BFG Comps are a great tire, run them on my wife's Corvette! For SLICK, she gets nothing but Michelin Pilot Super Sports with a UTQG of 300 which I totally trust in the rain! Yes, it does rain in SoCal...occasionally!
