CEL on with Codes C1109, C1132, U1000
Hi guys,
Hoping you can help me with this as I'm currently pulling my hair out. I just sold my G35 yesterday after not driving it for around 3 weeks. I haven't had any issues leading up to this, just bought a new car and haven't been driving the G. I sold it to a friend yesterday, he test drove it and drove it for a while last night without issue, then late last night on his way home the check engine light came on. He just took it in this morning and 3 different codes came up on the code scanner: C1109, C1132, U1000. I tried searching on Google but can't find any instance of all three of these codes coming up at once. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
I told him to either take the car to the shop and I would take care of it, or to bring it back to me and I would take it to the shop myself. I had no idea that the car had any issues and it drove very well every time I got into it prior, so no idea what the issue could be. I feel awful, like I sold the guy a lemon, but I've honestly never had a problem with it before. Does anyone know what this could be? Any past history with these kinds of codes? Any idea on what repair costs would be? Any help that anyone could give me right now would be very much appreciated.
Thanks so much!
Ben

Im not the most experienced with mechanical issues in all honesty but when i get my check engine light I always check https://www.autocodes.com/ before going to a mechanic to be sure they don't throw some stuff on top to get $$$ out of me usually gives you a method too

C1109 INFINITI - Power And Ground System
Possible Causes:
-Faulty ABS actuator and electric unit
-ABS actuator and electric unit harness is open or shorted
-ABS actuator and electric unit circuit poor electrical connection
-Blown ABS fuse
-Low battery voltage
C1132 INFINITI - Engine Signal 3
Possible Causes:
-Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
-Faulty ABS Actuator and Electric Unit (Control Unit)
-Control Area Network (CAN) communication line
-Blown Engine Control Module (ECM) fuse
U1100 INFINITI - CAN Communication Line - Signal Malfunction
Possible Causes:
-Controller Area Network (CAN) communication harness is open or shorted
-Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
-Poor harness ground connection.
Sounds like everything is definitely related. Could be simple, could be massively expensive. Can't wait to find out

Service bulletin suggests cleaning engine and body harness ground connection to repair the problem.
- Clean/re-tighten ECM ground connections.
- Clean/re-tighten negative battery cable body connection and battery post connection
- If needed, clean and ensure good contact between the steering member assembly and the left side instrument stay assembly.
That doesn't seem all too bad hope it isn't and all works out for you
