ABS relay pinout

hey guys so I can do burn outs now........because my ABS and VCD are not happy.

What is this wire for? it's in the ABS relay harness. Baby blue with yellow stripe. I found this wire to be broken at another location in the vehicle (by the firewall) but I'm not sure if this is a positive, negative, signal for something, etc? Can someone tell me what this wire is for or point me in the direction of the pinout? can't find the pinout in the service manual.

thank you.

Here, it's definitely in the FSM.

thank you so much for this. So based on this it's the L/Y wire and it's going out of the relay box and is going into the control unit located in the kick panel? It's wire #7 on the relay that goes into hole #36 on the control unit harness? From this chart how can you tell what that wire is actually for?

Yep that's correct about the color and pin number. That wire is the SIGNAL side from the control unit up to the solenoid relay. Look on the picture and inside the control relay it goes to the circle-y part of the solenoid valve relay. Basically when that wire is energized it closes the switch to turn the solenoid valve relay ON.

Ahhh. so this wire goes from the control module in the kick panel to the relay under the hood? is this right?

so if this wire was damaged along the way somewhere (like the pic - this is at the firewall in the grommet) it would set off ABS, SLIP, VCD OFF lights?

Yeah interruption of any of those wires will likely turn the system off. Your light probably doesn't turn on until you hit 10mph and it fails the self-test yes?

I guess that's the trigger/remote wire for the relay. All the lights come on at ignition. Self-test doesnt even take place.

I guess this is the wire that's VDC OFF button is connected to?

Should I test it by connecting 12v to it and see if lights turn off?

Just so I don't go looking in the wrong place, in which kick panel is the VDC control unit thingy?
