If you just guess and replace parts and it doesn't resolve the problem then just keep replacing parts until you guess at the right one.

Or you could spend the diagnostic fee at a dealer to tell you exactly what your problem is. Then pay again to remove the non OEM parts that you just guessed at.

Hopefully you had the code/s pulled that triggered the SES lights and that's what led you to replace the cam sensors. If you didn't you're going about this issue the wrong way.

If you did you wasted your money buying aftermarket sensors. Head over to Amazon, pick up a pair of OEM sensors and call it a day. It boggles my mind that advice to use only OEM sensors is all over this forum and still is either ignored or not researched...

It could be several things you need to pull codes to help know where to start.

I agree on the OEM sensors. I had two sets of aftermarket sensors that were bad from the start. After buying the OEM Nissan sensors I have had zero problems. I wouldn't trust the amazon sensors, they are probably knock offs since they are not the metal housing version that Nissan changed to. I just bought a second set from Boch Nissan for my other car and they are the newer metal ones like the Titan has.

They're genuine all right, just not genuine Nissan. The brand name is O E M and while the part numbers listed in the description are correct for both sensors if you look at the picture of them at the top of the listing they are different. Also the price of a pair is ridiculously low, this is deceptive advertising at it's best. Head over to Amazon which is where I have found them, the prices there are the cheapest I have found. or if you need both.

Can't help but to think of Tommy boy and a "guaranteed piece of ****" haha. But yeah, OEM is a sneaky brand... oem components have the manufacturer's name on them.

OEM is a Chinese conglomerate that sells to major auto part stores.

NEW revised part numbers (for future reference) are: 23731-6J90D (Bank 1) and 23731-AL61D (Bank 2)

i used non-oem sensors and its lasted me a 5 years. Beck and Arnley sensors. They are often OEM for some parts. But i get them for $30-40 each. I put them up past chinese junk and right in line or one level under real nissan parts.

Damn....thats some deceptive bullshit. Looks like I got shafted. Well they are expected to come in tomorrow.
Should I even bother with installing them? Or could they do more harm than good down the road?

I would return them without using them. You could install them and have them work for however long they will, the worst thing thing that could happen would be one or both of them fail and leave you stranded somewhere. You won't hurt the motor or anything else if they quit working.
