Does anyone know the size and specs 17mm bolt that connects the rack and pinion to the sub frame. Dealer told me bolt is cross threaded and they no longer sell it at Infiniti or Nissan. I cant find the part online anywhere can someone please let me know.

 

Normally you will end up taking them off a vehicle in a salvage yard buy you might try Z1 Motorsports, call them and see if they carry it.

Also if the bolts were stripped the front crossmember is probably also damaged unless it uses a threaded insert.

 

Just ordered these off ebay. Hoping this is it. I also papn to take it to a local trusted shop tomorrow morning to see what they can do.
Hey thanks for the reply. Funny thing is I contacted z1 motorsports earlier and they as well dont have it. Nissan nor Infiniti carry the bolt anymore. I had a order through the dealer yesterday and he called me this morning to inform me they no longer sell it. He said I need to get an aftermarket one from a store and that he would drill the old one out and put that one in but i have no clue of the specs. I just know it's two 17mm bolts.

 

That hardware kit should work perfectly. Glad you were able to find something.
