My G35 cut in half...
Ladies and Gentlemen, what you read is true. About a month ago, my G35 was literally cut in half by a Peterbuilt in New Orleans. I'm just getting out of the hospital and I'm trying to get pictures from my insurance company. If there is one great thing to say about the G is that it saved my life. The side curtian airbags sheilded my head from the glass and the layout of the car helped with the broken bones. I really can't get into detail, seeing that I'm typing with one hand, but I'll post pics as soon as possible.
The rear of the car was 30 feet from the front. The truck driver was stoned and didn't see me pull out. He was also going about 90 in a 55.

Sorry to hear about that bro. We wondered where you were. Hope all goes well with your recovery, and G replacement. You had one sweet ride. Good thing you were driving a G dude, anything else and you may not be here to tell us about it. Get better soon bro.
Keep us up on what's happening and G/L.

Re: My G35 cut in half...
Güte Beßerung. Glad to here you are alive with good spirits. I had a motorcycle accident in 1999 with a woman on a cell phone. She pulled right in front of me. Totaled my 6 month old bike, crushed my left hand and broke 3 bones in my back. The law suit did take until last year to complete, but sometimes it is worth it. I still can't make a complete fist and I have back pain if I sit too long. All because a woman thought her phone call was more important than my life or others. It still gets me angry thinking about it. Good luck DJ.

Yeah, best of luck. Get healed, but don't rush it.
I'm betting you'll come out ahead in court also, because it's ALWAYS the truck driver's fault. Even if an accident was caused by an idiot four-wheeler, the truck driver is almost always at fault since they're the professional driver. Just act cool and explain the situation as it happened, no need to embelish at all. (my roomate is a truck driver so I hear about this stuff all the time)
Also, can we see a bigger picture of that hottie in front of your car?

You'll have to skip ahead to page 6 or 7 to get to what you're looking for, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of interesting pictures on your way there....

On the subject of "it's always the truck driver's fault because they're the professionals" -- well, maybe so. But then, if DJ's claims are correct (90 in a 55, and stoned to boot), then I'd say he wasn't being very "professional."
