Don’t know if it’s the purpose of a new shifter but I recently installed a new mishimoto one and now my shifter feels loose and wobbly than my old tighter oem one. is that normal or did I mess something up ? Lol please don’t bash me

Did you buy a real Nissan specific shift **** with a female thread and pitch or did you buy a generic eBay with a plastic female insert that glues or deforms to the male end of the shifter?
Why would a new shifter that makes your shifting more wobbly and loose be normal?

I bought a sliver mishimoto weighted one don’t know the threads on it.Could it be because I loosen up the **** by hand therefore I messed up my shifter? Originally Posted by kelman81
