Car running lean

Ok so I have a v35 sedan and I’m trying to confirm a few things. So my car has been running lean after installing some bolt ons such as: Injen cai, art pipes, Megan y pipe, and 5/16 plenum spacer. It’s also been misfiring as a result of running lean. My question is are those enough bolt ons to cause the car to run lean and misfire? I have a tech at my shop that thinks I’m on some bullshit but I just wanted some confirmation from the OGs in the game

Lean does not cause misfire.

OBD2 scan realtime information for STFT and LTFT. That will tell you what kind of correction is being made. Unless something is really wrong with your car you're not ACTUALLY lean in the combustion chamber, the ECM makes adjustments to keep that from happening

You probably have a vacuum leak after messing with the intake and that's causing you to run lean. I'd look around after your MAF to see if everything is secure.

You've made enough mods to make your G run lean, that's not what's causing your misfire! Once I'd made the same bolt ons you have, I needed to get a tune or put the factory cats back on to correct the constant error code! Have a qualified mechanic find your misfire issue then get an Osiris tune that's worth at least 25 RWHP increase!

Thanks for the clarity. I’m gonna put her through it just a bit longer until I can get my mrev2 and then I’ll tune. Is it possible that bad o2 sensors can make it run rough? I just got my new ones in the mail but I just want to know so if and whenever this situation arises again I know what to do

No I never had issues with overheating. That would be directly related to your cooling system. Do you have any coolant leaks you know of. If not it could be a bad thermostat possibly
