I really wanted the Coupe, but in the end, it came down to 4 doors, AWD and a future family.... Both have their nitch, otherwise they would only make one style.

Head room, price, stealth factor and the '05 Sedan gives up nothing in term of performance and handling to the coupe.

After straining my back w/ the baby seat in my M3 (coupe), I decided 4-doors over looks. I feel like I'm driving a limo sometimes, though.

I simply found the dark colored sedan look better than the coupe of any color.

Always loved a performance sedan. My first was 00 Mazda 626 V-6, 5spd. Traded for a 02 Maxima 6spd, Traded for a Titan (sucks), traded for a 04 G35 6spd. I love a lots of power with a manual xsmn, and 4drs.

We don't have kids yet, but our other two cars have two doors and one of us had to drive a car that can hold more than two people comfortably. In all honesty, I actually like four door cars, they’re much easier to get in and out of.

Sedan had 4 doors.

I would not have looked twice if only the coupe had been available.

I would probably hae considered an used GS300 next.

I wanted a G. I have to carry clients around. The 4 doors and full size spare are a plus. Not to mention I love a tricked out sedan.

Would have bought the coupe if it came with four doors.

I wanted to get away from a two door car, doors are too wide and heavy, having a bad leg, I need to be able to open the door all the way to get in and out, and the narrower sedan doors work great, also, the first G35 I ever saw was a sedan, and that was what I was attracted to, but the other cars I shopped were also sedans.

Would have bought the coupe if it came with four doors.
Guess it wouldn't have been a true coupe then, LOL!

marry with kid.
but 4 doors always appeal to me more than 2 doors. I like the coupe but it's just not practical.

In the past, the increased performance of the coupe was very attractive, in a sexier shape than the sedan.

But usher in 2005 - the brembos are gone, the coupe and sedan both weigh the same, and have the same amount of power - same performance. My 2005 6MT has 298HP, LSD, 235 tires, 18" wheels... the only thing the coupe has over the sedan was a sexy, svelte exterior. But honestly, with the redesign, I really like my 05 sedan exterior in DG.

That was enough. But the increased interior room, lower insurance cost, "stealth" factor with law enforcement made the car even better.

I dunno... I've always been a sucker for 4 door sleepers like the E55, S4, RS6, etc. that don't cry "look at me"... but hold their own with performance.

I'm a sedan guy. Always have been. Love the Q-Ship. Coupes draw too much attention from the cops and street racers looking to flex. The G35 Sedan offers terrific performance and handling in a good looking 4 door package. It was a no brainer for me.

I like to travel and like to have room for my stuff. Can't do it as effectively in a coupe - this one or any other.

My .02
