Transmission Swap Question

Having some issues with my 2005 AT after 188,000 Miles.

I would really like to put an MT either from a G35 or 350Z. Anyone know if this requires a different driveshaft?

There is a whole thread on the Diy swap. It can be rather expensive. If you can buy a whole parts car you can do it cheaper than buying those parts individually.

6 speed G35 sedan
Normally its easier to just sell your car and buy one with a 6 speed but you won't get much for a car with a bad transmission and 6 speed sedans especially are getting hard to find. Locally I rarely see them come up now. Like urbanengineer suggested, find a parts car (350Z probably easier to source the parts from since there were more) and get as much as you can.
