I have a 2003 g35 that i recently replaced both cam position sensors. But today a familiar problem came back when i was pulling on to my street and the car just shut off. Now the car won’t start. Yes i have gas, oil, and all the lights on the dash come on along with clicks when i turn the car on. Anyone have an idea of what my problem could be?

 

Does the engine crank when u try to start it? Did u use OEM camshaft sensors?

 

yes it cranks and yes i did

 

Could be the crankshaft position sensor now.

Is the check engine light on? Any codes?

 

While cranking the engine see if the tachometer moves, if it does NOT then your crank sensor probably failed.

 

And just to verify that you DO have gas, you put a fresh gallon into the tank correct? Or you are tracking your mileage via miles driven. The fuel gauge is notorious for failing and showing a half tank when you're actually empty.
