Wow, just saw this looking around my area for cheap G's. Looks pretty good for 390k!! Hard to believe it's still road worthy.

I know, It has obviously been garaged and had mostly highway miles. Most of the cars I have seen with 300k+ miles have really bad paint and seats. If you think about it he has spent more money on gas than the original sticker price. Honestly I doubt he will ever sell it with that many miles. The only type of buyer he would get for it would be someone wanting a project car that was going to replace everything.
That's crazy mileage (at 21 mpg, ouch) and really unbelievable with the interior condition. Neat to see such a well kept and high mileage example.
Winters in Springfield must not be as bad as the one I experienced working there 2014-2015. Seemed like every week was an ice or snow hazard adventure.

Yeah, we don't get a lot of snow but get some pretty bad ice storms. The last record breaker was in 2007 where most of Springfield was out for over a week. I had to run business and home out of a E150 cargo van with generators, deep cycles and huge inverters. Thank God for city gas!

My van is my mobile power house. I can little put people back on the grid with the inverters in the back. Have it for rainy and snowy days as a side business.

Haha, that was a good one. I wish I still had that van but I sold it a couple years after that major ice storm. It was the BIG club wagon with the good old Ford 302ci 5.0l, 3G 130 amp alternator, and a 35 gallon tank. I picked it up for $350 and only had to replace the cast exhaust manifolds and battery
Was a great utility / toy hauler / work vehicle. I saw one like mine a couple yeas back that this old guy built with a truck 4wd setup and 3-4 inch lift. Made me start thinking about getting another one haha
