I have 235/50-17s Avon Tech M500 (summer) and absolutely love them. They were a bit harsh for the first week or so and than softened up. Ramps that were somewhat uncomfortable at 65mph on stock GS-Ds are barely noticeable now at 75mph. Cruise stability with high side winds has increased dramatically. Thread pattern looks a lot like Bridgestone SO3. Very good value overall. We'll see how they wear, otherwise I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Mine came with the Michelin Pilot's....I usually drive like a madman and even with the heavy Cali rain over the past couple months, my car still stuck to the road like glue. I have not tried any other tires, but the Pilot's have supreme traction, even in the rain!

They fit but there is a slight bulge. I have that size on mine and I'll get the 235/50's next time. They still work like a charm but from what I understand, with a tire that wide on these rims I can expect to get more center wear than is desirable.

Toyo Proxes 4. I've had them for a couple of months now and love them. Thanx to IQ9, JasperG35 and others.

You are quite welcome! Enjoy the TOYOS. I also have 8 inch 5Zigens on my sedan,so the 245/245 fit great...close but great.

Hey, me too! I just got 17x8 +43 FN01R-C with 245/45/17 Yoko AVS ES100S. I think the tire slightly rubs the upper control arm at full lock. There is definitely less space now. But the wider footprint definitely feels better than the stock 215.

I got the Typhoons in gunmetal 17x8. I wanted a rim that was the same weight as the stockers or less and one I had not seen on other cars. ES100 are what we ran on my wifes SI before an after her rims were stolen and loved them but no snow duty with them so the Toyos are a must.
