Alarm Horn is off ,i need help!

The issue is the following , i get close to it and lock and unlock (it kind of makes a noise but it cant ) (by the way the horn works perfectly)
I did the lock and unlock (pressing at the same time for second and switch it to one time flash of the hazards and still same thing ,nothing
what could it be for me to fix this on a g35x 2006 sedan- got it to work for the panic button , but the honk on locking is very low

05 g35 Sedan Cranks but won’t start

Hey Guys I need your help! I have a 05 G35 sedan RWD. Coming out of work one day my car wouldn’t start. If cranks but would not get any spark I checked crank sensors, fuel pump, starter, fuses, at this point I am lost and just really need to get my car started does anyone have a clue what it could be ? My key has piece of the black rubber broken off could that have anything to do with the chip transponder causing it to not start? Help pleasee

@Jonny Rivera If your key has the transponder broken off or if the transponder is just not working then you will have a solid red NATS indicator light on the left side of the dash when cranking. NATS prevents fuel/spark. Also, you should create a new thread instead of hijacking someone elses thread.

@n3llyfl0w Mine does the same thing when I lock the vehicle, chip is very quiet. I've suspected this is an early sign of the horn relay starting to wear since it has a mechanically moving part actuated by an electromagnet (typical relay) and the BCM horn pulse length is so short when it chirps the horn on lock that after 15 years of age on the relay the moving parts just don't move as quickly and thus the signal getting sent to the horn is much shorter and barely enough to even make noise.

Also, there is usually a note adjustment screw on horns, I haven't looked to see if the G35 has them but it adjusts tension on the internal part the diaphragm that creates the noise and it's possible the diaphragm doesn't move as quickly due to the polymers aging but I don't think it's the actual culprit because my horn sounds just fine when you actually use it.
