Hi fellow G35/37ers!

So I want to do my Serengeti Sands G right and put a double din radio in it - meaning that I have to go with the JDM. Here is what I found - https://conceptzperformance.com/niss...-kt_p_3414.php . Sidenote - I know some sell on eBay but I havent seen any in at least 6 months without Nav that cost less.

Anyways in the description - "This is the original Nissan OEM Double Din Bezel Finisher and A/C Control from Japan. Direct Bolt on, A/C Controller has a Dual Mode Button, but does not function or operate. Realistically, how often do we use it anyway?"
Which yes in fact I do use my dual zones as I get much hotter during a road trip than my girlfriend does.

My question is - Can this be fixed? I am a soldering tech and junior engineer for a PE/EE(Professional Engineer) and I am pretty handy with making cables and soldering - could I fix this button myself? Is it common for it go out? Is there a wiring diagram/schematic availlable anywhere?(I couldn't find one in my googling)

TLDR(all the stuff in bold) - Can I fix the broken dual zone button?

It's not that the button is broken, but it the dual mode feature wasn't enabled for the JDM cars.
