Key FOB Housing [FCC ID: KBRTN001]
Yes that it correct. I have the one where you have to turn the ignition.
Unfortunately there are no cheap options, it's around $125 not including the cost of cutting the key or programming the BCM. Just google search something like "2006 g35 smart fob".
I was hoping that would not be the case. Thanks for the help.
On the other hand, since you're asking about the housing perhaps you mean the system / key is working but the plastic has broken? If that's the case you should be able to buy any 2006 fob from Ebay and replace the insides with your key's circuit board and cut key.

That’s indeed the case. The FOB got stuck between the driver’s seat and in the process of trying to it get out the bottom part of the plastic housing got damaged. The Alarm button at the bottom of the housing came apart and got destroyed. The FOB still works and so does the circuit board. Thanks for responding because thats what I initially wanted to do and was looking for only the plastic which does not seem to be available. I am going to look for the FOB on eBay and just swap out the Key and Board as suggested. Thanks again.
I bought a FOB off ebay earlier today. Never thought of looking at AliExpress. I will be searching there going forward though. Thanks for the suggestion.
No problem. One thing I don't understand though is why do we have the most expensive keyfob...two years later model can be much cheaper (2007+). Its really sad lol
They only used that early intelligent key system for 2 years, then they switched to the push button style and used it for the next 12 years. There's just a lot more of the newer style fob on the market.
ahh so its just simply supply and demand T.T
