Exhaust questions for 06 G35 sedan

So recently i bought a G35 it's high mileage well high kilometers in Quebec 😬 the car thankfully has little to no rust. I'm trying to do all the little maintenance here and there but I'll get to the point. Coming from Florida we get to do whatever we want with cars but here in Montreal it's a little restricted on messing with exhaust systems, but I noticed the original owner had the muffler after the y pipe cut an put a pipe to give it a little more sound which it sounds amazing when I floor but I'm wondering what can I do with to get some pops when I downshift on the auto trans.
I was thinking to put test pipes with stock exhaust to keep a stealthy look with more noise an hp or just do a muffler delete. Anyone have any tips?

I swapped in Kinetix hi flow cats about a month ago. They alone increased the exhaust noise quite noticeably. My friend and I custom fabbed a mid-pipe with a Magnaflow 2.5" skinny muffler (basically a glasspack) which ran to a stock rear muffler.
With the Kinetix on, it was WAY too loud for me, it had a fair amount of drone that was annoying too. Add in that I leave for work at 5:30, I wanted to tone it down. I swapped in an OEM FX35 mid-pipe I pulled from my local junkyard. It mellowed the noise level quite nicely, now I don't have to worry about my neighbors dirty looks

Oh I see but I've come across on here that the resonator delete or to glass pack isnt really the best sound we want out of are cars. I'd love to get HFC but at the moment it's cheaper to get test pipes or a muffler delete. I'm not gonna lie I do like the sound of our exhaust but I wanna figure if its possible to get to pop without being obnoxious while driving normally.

Since your midpipe is basically already modified you're only non-obnoxious option is high flow cats.

Or Art Pipes if you don't have to worry about visual emissions inspection and actual tail pipe tests.

It will be pretty obnoxious with art pipes on a stock muffler with the midpipe resonator deleted though. Gets a weird sort of "buzzing" sound on the stock sedan muffler.

Well, I had the Tanabe Medalion exhaust on mine that was so boomy on part throttle acceleration and had a ton of drone at 2500 rpm the Art Pipes actually calmed it down some.
