New to the forum and G35’s. Did a oil change after buying the car with 186,000 kms. Looks like I’ve inherited all the 160,000km+ failures that happen after warranty expires. I have an oil leak coming from a line on the passenger side under the front bumper that is covering my suspension components. Looks like it’s a coming from a hose as it’s wet @ the union but not above the hose. Just looking for some guidance. New hose and clamp? I’m a DIY guy, thanks! Suspension components are rather coated. Above the bumper valance.
Not totally sure what the line is for but if you're sure it's coming from that hose just buy a screw hose clamp, take that squeeze clamp and loosen it and put it on the flexible section not on the barb of the metal stem. Then unscrew that screw clamp completely and put it on that hose in the same position and screw it down.
That way you don't have to actually unhook that clamp and lose fluids. It's not going to hurt anything leaving that existing clamp on the hose up on the flexible section.
