Rod knock
Rod knock
I have a 2006 G35 x i completely underestimated this project my awd is shot out i was driving the car wit out being in use i am fixing a rod Knock ive already located the knock am changing all bearings minus well my upper oil pan has a hole so am also need to replace that question is can i install the oil pan wit out putting on the awd assembly or do i need it on ? Or can a rwd upper oil pan be a same fit. ?
RWD and AWD oil pans are different, AWD pan has a hole in it that the right side CV axle goes through.
You might be able to patch the hole in your existing pan, welding to cast aluminum is tricky but it can be done.
