Front passenger side window acts up when I roll the window up it goes all the way up but then comes down a quarter of the way is there a way to fix this like a button to hold down or some other quick fix? Any help is grately appreciated

Hye guys, do I need to disconnect the battery to replace the window switch? I read somewhere that since when ignition isn't on, there is no juice going to window switch, you do not need to disconnect the battery.
