FYI: Factory Chin Spoiler - 05 Sedan!

Nissan Motor Co just released a factory chin spoiler for the 2005 Sedan.
They state it will fit all 6MT cars and all sport-tuned suspension package equipped cars (once i get more in, I'll try it on all cars though)
They're available in all of the 05 colors:

-Twilight Blue
-Black Obsidian
-Ivory Pearl
-Brililant Silver
-Garnet Fire
-Diamond Graphite
-Serengeti Sand
-Lakeshore Slate

I'll get some good pics of the parts once they arrive in and I can put them on a few cars here.

Thanks!

Justin, they say it will only fit specific 05 models, is this correct? Do you know if it would work on the 05 G35X.
Thanks, Wayne

Wayne,

The info I have currently says that it will not. But I have a few on the way and I'm going to test fit them the beginning of next week and I'll report back with the results.
I dont' see why they won't fit, but I figure there's something I'm overlooking. It may just be a small modification needed to make it work, but i'll know for sure next week.

Oh thank god. About time. Any word on the splash guards? My black '05 needs those, too.

Thanks Justin, I was also wondering why they would not fit. It sounds like there are a few X's that are wanting to know. Will be looking for your findings after you do a test fit.
Appreciate your help, Wayne

Those are available too. They'll fit all 05 sedans.
I don't want to get in trouble for posting the info up here again,
so here's a link to my post in the vendor section

I think I know why the spoiler may need to be modded to fit the X. THe X seems to have a different front bumper cover. It has an opening in the lower center to allow air to flow to a small cooler, maybe a trans cooler? Sedans without AWD do not seem to have this. Just something I noticed.

Yeah, that's there, but I'm thinking that opening may be high enough to not get blocked by the chin spoiler. The chin spoiler doesn't appear to go that high up on the bumper, but i'll check it out and let you know.

Justin, how do these mount? Are there existing holes? It's great they come pre-painted. It should look great.

Justin, have you seen the chin spoiler on a G yet? Does it flow with the front bumper or does it look like it is and 'add-on?' How does it mount? Thanks.
