Water pump bolt fell

One of the bolts that goes into the water pump fell while trying to put it back on. I was using a magnet and still managed to do it… anyone know how I could get the bolt out?

Take off the timing chain cover.

If I take my timing chain cover off do I have to redo any of my timing
