Seems like im posting here everyday lol, so i recently did an engine swap and disconnected the harness to swap it over, i removed it from the inside underneath the passenger side kick panel of course, as i was putting it back in i had one extra connector that was sitting on the tcm, it slides in to a clip on the top of it. Im throwing direct clutch solenoid codes, front brake solenoid and some others and i believe its due to that. I cant find for the life of me where the connector, connects. Any help is appreciated.
Its a female connector, whiteish color, i believe it has 4 pins(could be wrong on this, im at my house rn going off memory), it clips to the top of the tcm.
Just to be clear, 2003 Sedan with an A/T? I don't know what I'm talking about but ... looking through the FSM I think that connector is "F105" and meant for the "AT/PV IGN Relay". Here are a couple screenshots from the books...

Yeah its an auto. Im a nissan tech but im newer to this stuff so i have a hard time reading wiring diagrams, which also sucks lol, what could leaving it unconnected cause, and is it a relay? It seems like a relay but once again very new to wiring and electrical. If so how do i find the correct relay?
Ok update, seems like the codes went away after popping a relay in. Its running pretty well too, however its automatically into 4th gear when i switch in manual. Its definitely rowing thru gears right in automatic tho. Also I appreciate yall hella man, really cool people💜
Yeah I don't have that harness on my 2006 6MT coupe so it's got to be a 5AT only thing.
Typically a "transmission relay" is some kind of shift lock relay but I thought that it was located on the side of the shifter mechanism in the center console on the G35, it's possible the early model ones with the external TCM like yours actually has the shift lock relay mounted right above the TCM which would make sense.
I'm betting it's this relay from Autozone. It matches the picture of that relay in the FSM. Autozone relays is shown upside down but I'm betting that's the one you need.
If that's not it then it might be the same type of relay as the AC relay. You can take yours and see if it works, it's BEHIND Fuse Block - J/B (cabin fuse box in the driver footwell).
Pull up the foot rest, it just stabs onto a stud in the floor pan, remove the door kick trim, you need to take out the lower section at the bottom of the door jamb first, then the kick panel with the fuse box access window, whole thing has to be removed, it's only like 4 screws.
Next remove the 10mm bolt/nut holding the fuse box to the chassis, now lift up the fuse box and you can see behind it to access the relays on it. One of them is your AC fan motor relay, use that one (as long as your AC fan motor works then you know that relay works). See if it fits into that transmission harness. I don't see a release tab or locking tab on the harness so I can't tell if it's supposed to use a retainer-type relay like the autozone one I listed or just an unretained stab-type like that AC relay.
Either the Autozone relay or the AC relay will probably fit, but there's no way to retain the AC relay besides using a zip tie to hold it in place. If it's a Nissan blue relay then they're all the same on the inside even though the exterior might be slightly different shape to fit different harnesses.

ah its all good brother i just walked back to parts to grab one lmao, perks of working at the shop. Now im tryna figure out why my A/C pulley isnt lined up correctly with the crank pulley, causing my belt to slip over and rip. Man that phrase "if it aint one thing its another" doesnt apply to anything else as well as it applies to cars lol
Also if yall ever need factory specs or something you cant find online, let me know i have the ESM and oem programming obviously for nissan/infiniti and even datsun

If I recall correctly, when you are rolling and slip into manual mode, it is normal for it to start out in 4th gear. 5th is an overdrive.
